Capture The Flag and King Of The Hill, on the other hand, are more immersive and realistic, simulating real-life scenarios like military battles or zombie apocalypses. There are a dozen of other types of paintball games that require strategic planning, communication, and careful execution to complete various objectives and ultimately emerge victorious.
The rush of adrenaline as you dodge enemy fire and maneuver around obstacles is unmatched, making paintball a thrilling sport that keeps me coming back for more. 1. Capture The Flag

The objective is straightforward: capture and control a specific area of the field – the coveted position of the ‘King of the Hill’. But don’t be fooled, this hilltop or elevated point is worth fighting for and is the ultimate position of power.
Your task is to outsmart and outgun the opposing team to claim the hill and keep it under your control for as long as possible. But watch out, the enemy is waiting to dethrone you and take over as the new King of the Hill.
To emerge victorious in this mission, you must work closely with your team and devise a solid plan of attack to protect your position against the opponent’s fire. The clock is ticking, and every second counts as you race against time to secure the win the paintball game.
If you get hit by an opponent’s paintball, you’re out of the game until the next round. But if you manage to hold onto the hill long enough, you’ll be crowned as the undisputed rulers of the battlefield.

5. Hostile Takeover
Have you tried all the previous game types and looking for something new? Try “Hostile Takeover”. Our team has made a new year’s resolution to dominate the battlefield and take down more of the enemy!
This paintball game is all about strategy and mobility. Unlike other games that focus on a single objective, Hostile Takeover requires you to attack, defend, and move on multiple targets. One team begins as the defenders, tasked with holding down a specific area while the attacking team prepares to strike.
As an attacker, you must plan your assault carefully, taking out the defending team’s shield and achieving the objective before time runs out. Meanwhile, the defenders have a set number of lives and must work together to stop the attackers in their tracks.
Effective communication is a key to success in Hostile Takeover. Each team member must know their role and work together to achieve victory in paintball. So, are you ready to join our team and show the enemy what we’re made of? Let’s go!
6. Center Flag Push
Are you ready for an adrenaline-fueled challenge that will test your paintball skills? Look no further than the one-flag game mode, where the playing field revolves around a single, coveted flag.
As you strategize with your team to secure the flag and evade your opponents’ shots, the adrenaline rushes through your veins. Each player must be quick on their feet and precise with their aim to ensure success.
Unlike capture the flag, where there are multiple flags to defend and acquire, the one-flag approach in these paintball games makes it even more challenging and thrilling. You must focus on one goal: getting the flag before the opposing team and delivering it to your base, all while dodging enemy fire and staying in the game.
7. Bomb Squad
As a paintball enthusiast, I love playing various games, and one of my favorites is the “Bomb Squad” game. It has multiple versions, but the core objective remains the same: move the bomb from the center of the field to the enemy’s base.
Once the bomb is in possession, the team must work together to transport it while the opposing team tries to stop them. It’s a thrilling experience as we race towards the enemy base while dodging incoming fire and strategizing our moves to outsmart the opponents.
In the two-sided bomb version, both teams possess a bomb and are aiming to throw it at the enemy’s base. The pressure is even higher as we have to defend our own bomb while trying to take out the other team.
Overall, the bomb game is a fast-paced and action-packed paintball mode that requires excellent teamwork, communication, and strategic planning to succeed. It’s a favorite among players of all ages, and I always look forward to playing it again and again.
8. Zombie Apocalypse
Zombie Apocalypse game in paintball is one of the most fun game out there. The basic premise of the game is that one or more players start out as zombies, and the rest of the players are humans.
The goal for the humans is to survive the zombie onslaught and complete various objectives, such as finding supplies or a safe zone. The zombies, on the other hand, must infect the humans by shooting them with a special paintball that marks them as “infected.” Once a human is infected, they become a zombie and join the other team.
The game starts with a countdown, and then all players are let loose onto the playing field. The zombies move quickly and relentlessly, while the humans must work together to fend them off and complete their objectives. The tension builds as the zombies get closer and closer, and the humans must make split-second decisions to survive.
As an expert, I can tell you that Zombie Apocalypse paintball game is not for everyone, but it’s definitely worth trying if you’re up for a challenge. Just remember to keep moving, keep your head on a swivel, and always watch your back. Good luck out there!
9. Predator Vs Prey
In this paintball game, players are divided into two teams: the predators and the prey. The predators, as the name suggests, are the hunters in the game, while the prey are their unfortunate targets. The objective of the predators is to hunt down and eliminate all of the prey players, while the prey’s goal is to avoid tagging out by the predators and survive until the end of the game.
To add to the excitement, the prey players usually have limited ammunition and paintball guns. But the predators have more advanced equipment and can respawn throughout the game. To keep the game fair, there are usually rules and restrictions in place. This includes a limited range for the predators’ paintball guns or certain areas of the playing field that are off-limits to them.
The game is fast, requiring quick thinking and strategy. The predators must work together to corner and eliminate the prey. On the other hand, the prey must use their wits and agility to avoid being caught. So, are you ready to enter the jungle and take on the role of either predator or prey in this adrenaline-fueled game of paintball? Let the hunt begin!
10. Resurrection
As a paintball expert, I’ve played many different games over the years, but one of my favorites has to be “Resurrection” mode. Here, each player starts out with a set number of lives, usually around three to five. Once a player is hit and loses all of their lives, they are out of the game and must wait on the sidelines until the next round.
But here’s where things get interesting: after a certain amount of time has passed, a “resurrection” period begins. During this time, eliminated players can re-enter the game and join the fight once again!
To make things even more exciting, there are usually different ways to “resurrect” depending on the rules of the game. For example, a player might have to touch a certain object on the field or make it back to a designated “respawn” point.
The game can become a real nail-biter as players try to eliminate their opponents while simultaneously avoiding being eliminated themselves. And when the resurrection period begins, the game takes on a whole new level of intensity as players scramble to rejoin the fight.
As a player in “Resurrection” game, I love the feeling of having a second chance. Even if I get hit early on in the game, I know that I still have a chance to come back and help my team to victory. This paintball mission keeps players on their toes and adds an extra layer of challenge to the game of paintball.
11. Assassins
I’ve played many different paintball games over the years, but one of the most thrilling and challenging is definitely the “Assassins” mode. In this game type, players are split up into two teams: the assassins and the targets. The objective of the assassins is to eliminate all of the targets, while the targets must survive until the end of the game.
What makes this paintball game so exciting is that each target is assigned a specific “assassin” who is tasked with taking them out. This creates a game of cat and mouse as the targets try to avoid elimination while the assassins search for them.
To make things even more challenging, the assassins must eliminate their target with a specific color of paintball. If they hit their target with a different color, they are eliminated from the game.
The game can become very intense as the targets try to stay hidden and the assassins try to track them down. But once a target is eliminated, the game doesn’t end there. The eliminated targets then become assassins themselves and must try to take out the remaining targets.
As a player in “Assassins” game, I love the feeling of being both the hunter and the hunted. The game requires quick thinking, strategy, and a good sense of awareness. It’s a true test of skill and precision. Whether you’re an assassin or a target, the game is sure to get your heart racing and your adrenaline pumping!
12. Attack And Defend
As a paintball player, one of my favorite games to play is “Attack and Defend”. Here the players are split into two teams: the attackers and the defenders. The objective of the attackers is to infiltrate the defenders’ base and capture a designated object. On the other hand, the defenders must protect their base and prevent the attackers from achieving their objective.
The paintball mission begins with the attackers planning their strategy and deciding which route to take to infiltrate the base. They must work together as a team to overcome the defenders’ obstacles, such as bunkers and barricades, while avoiding the defenders’ paint balls.
On the contrary, the defenders must also strategize and come up with a plan to protect their base and prevent the attackers from capturing the object. They must work together to cover all angles and coordinate their defenses to prevent the attackers from getting too close.
As an attacker, I love the adrenaline rush of trying to infiltrate the enemy base while avoiding getting hit. It requires quick thinking, communication with my teammates, and a lot of stealth and agility. On the other hand, as a defender, I love the feeling of being the last line of defense and doing everything I can to protect my team’s base. It’s a challenge to stay alert and constantly adapt to the attackers’ movements.
Overall, “Attack and Defend” game is an exciting and challenging paintball scenario that requires both strategy and teamwork. Whether you’re on the attacking or defending team, the game is sure to keep you on your toes and test your paintball skills to the max!
13. Speedball
Picture this: you’re standing on a small, rectangular field, heart racing as you survey the enemy team on the opposite end. You grip your paintball gun tightly, ready to take on any opponent who comes your way. Welcome to the adrenaline-pumping world of Speedball, my personal favorite paintball game to play.
Despite its name, Speedball isn’t just about raw speed – it’s a game of precision, strategy, and teamwork. The objective is simple: eliminate all members of the opposing team or capture the center of the field. But achieving that goal is easier said than done.
The playing field is filled with inflatable bunkers and barrels, providing both cover and obstacles for players to maneuver around. Each team starts on opposite ends of the field, and the game begins with a furious rush to claim the center ground. From there, it’s a battle of wits and reflexes as you try to outmaneuver and outgun your opponents.
If you’re short on space, Speedball is the perfect paintball game for you. Its small field size means you can enjoy all the excitement and intensity even in a confined area. So grab your gun, gear up, and get ready for an unforgettable showdown on the Speedball field.
14. Woodsball
Imagine stepping into a world where you are immersed in the natural beauty of the great outdoors, surrounded by towering trees, rolling hills, and dense bushes. This is the world of woodball, a nature-friendly game that allows players to experience the thrill of paintball in a realistic outdoor setting.
Unlike its fast-paced cousin, Speedball, woodball is a game of strategy and patience. Teams compete to eliminate each other or capture a central objective. They take their time to carefully plan their moves and avoid natural obstacles like trees and rocks.
As you navigate the terrain, your senses are heightened – the sound of twigs snapping underfoot, the rustle of leaves in the wind, and the adrenaline rush of spotting an opponent lurking in the distance. Every move you make must be calculated and precise, as a single misstep could mean elimination from the game.
But despite its challenges, woodball is a paintball game that is as exhilarating as it is nature-friendly. It’s a chance to reconnect with the natural world, breathe in the fresh air, and feel the thrill of adventure as you engage in epic battles in a breathtaking outdoor setting.
